Jyotsna works on the Promoting Latrine Use in Rural India Evidence Programme. Prior to joining 3ie, Jyotsna worked with UN Women to strengthen gender responsive budgeting with the Rajasthan government. She has also provided technical support as a gender consultant to India’s Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation and worked with several non- profit organisations. Jyotsna has a Masters in Social Anthropology from School of Oriental and African Studies, a Masters in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s in Social work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She is also a recipient of Chevening Scholarship (2014-15).
