Radhika MenonSenior Policy and Advocacy Officer
Radhika anchors 3ie’s advocacy work on evidence-informed decision-making. She has over nine years of experience working in the area of evidence-informed decision-making, knowledge translation and research communication. She reviews impact evaluation proposals and provides technical advice on stakeholder engagement, communication and evidence uptake. She is 3ie’s evidence uptake lead on programmes in several sectors including water, sanitation and hygiene, education and governance. As the evidence uptake lead on 3ie’s country programme in Uganda, she has been working with the Office of the Prime Minister on a capacity development initiative for generating and using evidence. Radhika also contributes to 3ie’s in-house research projects. She is a co-author of a 3ie systematic review on education effectiveness and an evidence synthesis paper on community-driven development.
A former journalist, Radhika has considerable experience in covering finance and economic policies. She has also directed a documentary film on the theme of gender and space for the Indian NGO Partners in Urban Knowledge Action and Research. Radhika holds an MA in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.
