Stuti manages a portfolio of studies that evaluate livelihood-based interventions. Prior to this she anchored 3ie’s work on evidence uptake and use, including developing tools for research partners to guide their work on stakeholder engagement and ensuring policy relevance of the study, and developing monitoring mechanisms to capture instances of evidence uptake in 3ie studies.
Stuti has extensive experience in the development sector having worked with a range of organisations around issues of microfinance and livelihoods. At International Finance Corporation (IFC) her work focused on promoting practices in responsible financing in the Indian microfinance sector. Prior to IFC, she worked with Centre for Microfinance- IFMR Research leading a randomised control trial to assess the impact of video-based financial literacy training to urban poor. Her foray into the development sector happened with SRIJAN, a grassroots implementing agency committed to promoting income generation activities in remote areas of rural India, where she led the knowledge management initiative.
Stuti holds a Masters in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics and a Bachelors (Hons) from Lady Shriram College, University of Delhi.
