Cem Yavuz

Cem supports the production of systematic reviews, evidence gap maps and other synthesis products as part of the Synthesis and Reviews Office (SRO). He currently leads research aimed at understanding what works to improve labour market outcomes through technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and skills programming. Previously, he has managed projects on sustainable energy, food security in humanitarian emergencies, as well as 3ie’s Development Evidence Portal (DEP). He has provided support on projects related to political competition, aquaculture and the SDGs and has delivered products for funders such as FCDO, USAID and DEval. 

Prior to joining 3ie as a staff member, Cem worked as a consultant providing support to various synthesis efforts. He holds an MSc in Security Studies from University College London (UCL) and a BA in Politics from the University of Kent.
