Africa Evidence Network (AEN) has launched a prize for leadership in evidence-informed decision making in Africa. The purpose of the award is to raise awareness of evidence-informed decision-making in Africa and highlight the growing status of evidence amongst decision makers in Africa. The recipient of the award will receive a space in the biennial Evidence conference to be held on 25-28 September at Pretoria, South Africa. The award will also include registration, economy return flights from their African country of residence and accommodation while attending the conference. The award also includes a travel grant worth USD1500 towards attending a high-profile course or event on evidence-informed decision-making. The deadline to apply for this award is 1 April.
