Promises for Preschoolers: Early Childhood Development and Human Capital Accumulation

To facilitate discussion and dialogue on this important issue, the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) in partnership with University College London and the Centre for the Evaluation of Development Policies at the Institute of Fiscal Studies organised an international conference ‘Promises for Preschoolers: Early Childhood Development and Human Capital Accumulation’ in London on June 25-26, 2012.
The conference featured new, cutting edge research on the process of human capital development, factors affecting investment in early childhood development and the impact of early childhood development interventions, with several platforms for discussion around policy influence.
