As a Research Assistant, Diana contributes to multiple research projects. She has contributed to the Living Food Systems and Nutrition EGM, the Anaemia EGM and is now part of the team developing a Rapid Evidence Assessment on the effects of Information, Capacity Strengthening, and Behavior Change interventions on food security, nutrition, and environmental food system resilience in Sub-Sahara Africa. Diana is specializing in developing evidence gap maps and conducting systematic reviews, with a focus on key areas such as gender equity, nutrition, and data-driven social research.
Diana served as a consultant for Oxfam UK, where she focused on scaling up development projects in low- and middle-income countries and conducted case-study research on community-driven initiatives in Honduras and India. She also worked as the National Director of Funds at NGO Techo-Ecuador, playing a pivotal role in shaping national financing strategies and forging partnerships with private and state actors to secure funding for emergency housing projects in Ecuador.
Diana holds a Bachelor's in Multilingual Business and International Relations from the PUCE-Ecuador, an MSc in Social Policy Research from the London School of Economics, and is currently pursuing a second Master's in Data Science.
