As Finance Manager at 3ie, Muslima Hussaini manages the financial operations of the Research Commissioning Centre (RCC) program funded by FCDO. She oversees budgeting, forecasting, donor reporting, and compliance, working closely with program teams to strengthen financial systems and ensure accurate monitoring of budgets and expenditures. She also plays a key role in embedding Value for Money processes across RCC, supporting reviews and contributing to efficient and transparent program delivery.

Muslima brings more than 10 years of experience in finance across international development and the non-profit sector. Prior to joining 3ie in September 2025, she was Finance Coordinator at Saferworld, where she supported Afghanistan programs with donor reporting, audits, and partner capacity building. She also held senior finance roles at City Life Church in Southampton, including Head of Finance, where she led end-to-end operations, compliance, and audits for charitable projects. Earlier in her career, she worked with UNDP and USAID projects in Afghanistan, as well as Kardan University, where she combined financial management responsibilities with completing her studies.

Muslima holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kardan University, Afghanistan, and is currently pursuing ACCA qualifications.
