3ie receives US$ 4.5 million grant from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott
We are proud to share that 3ie has received a gift from MacKenzie Scott of US$4.5 million in unrestricted funds for organizational support. Ms Scott, in a medium post, announced her recent round of donations of more than $1 billion to 343 organizations that are “supporting the voices and opportunities of people from underserved communities.”
The Development Evidence Portal
The Development Evidence Portal (DEP) is the world’s largest database of impact evaluations and systematic reviews on interventions to improve lives in low- and middle-income countries. It is updated monthly and contains more than 10,000 impact evaluations, systematic reviews and evidence gap maps. The DEP provides advanced searching capabilities and a rich set of options for filtering studies to help you find the evidence you need.

New food systems evaluations focus on the big picture
In our fourth update to the living evidence gap map (EGM) on food systems and nutrition, we see a curious shift in the evidence base. Of the 72 new studies we added to the EGM in this round, as many as 24 per cent evaluate interventions at the national or transnational scale.
