Veronika Tree

Research Associate

Veronika contributes to the production of systematic reviews and evidence gap maps of evidence on the effectiveness of social and economic interventions in low- and middle-income countries. She is also supporting in developing and carrying out a systematic search of the literature; screening titles and abstracts; critical appraisal; extracting data from the included studies; and synthesizing evidence.

Veronika has a background in economic research and monitoring & evaluation. Prior to joining 3ie, she worked in the results and evaluation section of the Directorate General for International Partnerships at the European Commission on improving the section’s COVID-19 response. She has also conducted an outcome assessment of a livelihoods program at the United Nations World Food Programme in Myanmar and has a year of experience supporting 3ie’s Synthesis and Reviews Office as a Consultant.

She holds a Masters in International Development and a Bachelors in Economics, International Relations, and Political Science, both from Sciences Po Paris.
