Sexual and reproductive health and rights in L&MICs- an Evidence Gap Map

The webinar will discuss existing evidence and evidence gaps about interventions to support family planning, maternal and newborn care, sexual and reproductive health and choice, addressing gender-based violence, and access to SRHR information and services in L&MICs. This webinar will focus primarily on the findings from the 3ie SRHR EGM. The EGM finds a significant and growing evidence base from which decision-makers can draw.

Evidence on global development programs often remains fragmented either by thematic areas of study, or by regions and populations. Evidence gap maps (EGMs) visually highlight where evidence concentrations and gaps exist in a sector or topic area and, in doing so, consolidate knowledge of these programs to inform future investments in research and programming.

Call for papers: New methods for impact evaluations in conflict and humanitarian emergency settings research workshop

International Security and Development Center (ISDC) invites submissions of research papers (including work in progress and working papers) for a workshop on new methods for rigorous impact evaluations of interventions in conflict and humanitarian emergency settings to be held in a hybrid format in Berlin on 6-7 July 2022. Priority will be given to interesting discussions of new data and quantitative methods for these settings, rather than findings.

CGIAR GENDER platform, through its Evidence module, organized a panel discussion to identify research for development (R4D) priorities on promoting inclusive and resilient livelihoods in the context of climate change and agri-food systems transformation in the Global South for One CGIAR and its partners. 3ie's Bidisha Barooah, along with several leading experts, discussed the current status and knowledge gaps in promoting decent, resilient & gainful livelihoods for women and youth in rural agri-food systems.
