Uptake and evaluation of innovative insurance-embedded credit for promoting resilience and livelihoods among smallholder farmers in Kenya

This brief discusses the findings of an impact evaluation of  innovative insurance-embedded credit for promoting resilience and livelihoods for smallholder farmers in Kenya through a market-based credit solution called Risk-Contingent Credit (RCC). 3ie initially received funding for the Agricultural Insurance Evidence Program from UK aid through the Department for International Development (now known as FCDO).
