Synthesis report: Addressing root causes and drivers of Irregular Migration

The authors of this report integrate key findings from the “Addressing Root Causes and Drivers of Irregular Migration: Evidence Gap Map 2025 Update’’ and the subsequent four evidence summaries. This report serves as a consolidated evidence base to inform prioritization of policies and research addressing root causes and drivers of irregular migration. This work was developed by 3ie with funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, through the Policy and Operations Evaluation Department (IOB).
