3ie’s sector-wide water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) evidence gap map provides an assessment of the evidence base for change, health and outcomes resulting from WASH promotional approaches in households, schools, health facilities and communities. This brief presents the primary and evidence available in the map and what evidence is needed across different low- and middle-income countries.
