Impact evaluation and interventions to address climate change: a scoping study
3ie Working Paper 7
Martin Prowse and Birte Snilstveit
Martin Prowse and Birte Snilstveit argues that to support the effective allocation of substantial climate funds, the selection and design of climate change interventions should be based on evidence of what works, what doesn’t, under what circumstances and at what cost. The current evidence base for bringing about behavioural change in climate change interventions is minimal and there is a need for wider application of impact evaluation in this field.
