Aastha Dang

Aastha Dang is a gender strategy specialist with over a decade of experience in gender and public policy research, providing technical and management leadership to women’s empowerment programs. She has extensive experience conducting fieldwork and managing large-scale qualitative research across India, collaborating with government, international, academic, and research organizations. Aastha holds a Ph.D. in Gender Studies and a Master's in Sociology. She has worked with the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) as a Senior Evaluation Specialist, leading 3ie’s research on gender intentionality in large-scale digital platforms and providing technical and management leadership to women's empowerment and livelihood evaluation programs. Currently, Aastha is a Gender Strategy Specialist for Vertelo, an electric vehicle platform backed by the Green Climate Fund and Macquarie Asset Management, where she leads gender mainstreaming across the platform’s e-mobility investments.
