Sanchi Lokhande

Sanchi provides research and business development support. Prior to joining 3ie, Sanchi worked as a consultant with the Poverty and Equity Global Practice at the World Bank in Washington, DC. Her work involved generating evidence on gender indicators in the Western Balkan countries in order to shape policy recommendations for their European Union ascension process. 

She has earlier worked as a summer fellow at 3ie, supporting our Swashakt program. Sanchi has also worked as a mental health and gender specialist across several organizations in India. Sanchi holds a Master’s in International Development Policy from Georgetown University, and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
