3ie at gLOCAL Evaluation Week 2021
3ie participated in the gLOCAL Evaluation Week 2021 convened by the Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI) together with local and global partners. In addition to traditional topics, this year’s theme – Building forward better – allowed organizers to highlight the role monitoring and evaluation can play in post-pandemic recovery.

Cette présentation est organisée par le programme Renforcement des capacités et évaluation d'impact en Afrique de l'Ouest (WACIE). En 2020, WACIE, en partenariat avec IDinsight, a lancé le WACIE Helpdesk pour renforcer l'utilisation des preuves par les décideurs ouest-africains pour soutenir leur prise de décision. La présentation décrit le WACIE Helpdesk, les méthodes de synthèse rapide des preuves pour répondre aux questions de politique et les premiers produits Help-Desk.

Le calcul de la puissance statistique en évaluation d’impact
Cette présentation organisée par le Programme de Renforcement des Capacités et d'Evaluation d'Impact en Afrique de l'Ouest (WACIE) porte sur le calcul de la puissance statistique dans les évaluations d'impact. Les calculs de puissance statistique font partie de l'intégration de la détermination de la taille de l'échantillon dans les évaluations d'impact.

Participatory approach in evaluations. Approach from evaluability to impact
Through the exchange of opinions, experiences and perspectives of those responsible for coordinating the evaluation processes in different regions, this sessions will generate a space for discussion on the approach of the participatory method in the evaluation of public interventions and impact evaluations. Seplan will share the experience of the evaluation strategy developed through young evaluators; 3ie will discuss its perspectives on incorporating the participatory approach in its impact evaluations, and the OECD will highlight the applicability of the Better Evaluation Criteria in both cases.
