The Community of Evaluators-South Asia (CoE-SA) and the Evaluation Association of Bhutan (EAB) will host the Evaluation Conclave 2025: Future-Ready Evaluation – Integrating Voices and Localizing Evaluation for Global Impact from 27 to 30 May 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) is pleased to participate in the upcoming COE-SA Conference, a premier regional convening focused on advancing evaluation practice in South Asia. This year’s conference brings together researchers, evaluators, policymakers, and development practitioners to explore inclusive and context-sensitive approaches to evidence generation and use.

As part of the conference, 3ie is hosting a dedicated session that highlights the importance of equity and inclusion in evaluating programs aimed at empowering women and marginalized communities.

This session will explore how equity-focused evaluation can drive meaningful progress in women’s empowerment initiatives. Each speaker will offer brief opening remarks on sub-themes such as intersectionality, participatory evaluation methods, and the challenges of translating evidence into policy. The session will feature a guided discussion addressing systemic barriers, design considerations, and practical solutions for making evaluations more inclusive and contextually relevant.

An interactive Q&A will provide space for attendees to share experiences and engage directly with the panel.
