Learning days: design development workshop for principal investigators in Sub-Saharan Africa
Evidence in Governance and Politics (EGAP) organised a learning days workshop in Addis Ababa from 30 March – 3 April 2020. Co-hosted by the International Food Policy Research Institute and International Livestock Research Institute, this five-day workshop aimed at introducing and developing familiarity with experimental research methods in the social sciences for principal investigators in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The workshop was intended for Africa-based researchers and evaluation professionals working in academic, non-governmental, and governmental organizations who carry out analyses related to governance and development. Ideal attendees for the workshop was scholars with prior training in social sciences and statistics, econometrics, or policy evaluation. Sessions was conducted in English.
