The authors of this report systematically identified, mapped, and described the evidence base of interventions that aim to strengthen human rights. The characteristics of the evidence are described and mapped according to a framework of 23 interventions and 28 outcomes. This evidence gap map (EGM) includes 377 impact evaluations and 46 systematic reviews. The map was commissioned by USAID’s Center for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance.
