This brief summarises findings from a scoping study to understand the status of impact evaluations in eight countries of the West African Economic and Monetary (WAEMU). 3ie’s WACIE program mapped evaluation stakeholders; assessed local capacity to conduct and analyse evaluation evidence; and identified evaluation needs of policymakers.
