Lessons learned from the implementation of the Special Food Security Program (PSSA)

In this learning brief, the authors share their experience integrating qualitative evidence within a synthesis to improve their understanding of the impact of food systems and nutrition interventions on women’s empowerment and gender equality. The brief was commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit’s (GIZ’s) Knowledge for Nutrition Program

This brief presents new evidence on the effectiveness of a peacebuilding project in Darfur, Sudan supported by the United Nations Secretary-General's Peacebuilding Fund. It shows that the project reduced the number of land conflicts and improved service provision.
