This brief is based on 3ie's youth and transferable skills evidence gap map that identified 90 impact evaluations of youth and transferable skills intervention in L&MICs. Researchers found a large number of health-related studies, around two-thirds of the total. Many relate to HIV and AIDS or sexual and reproductive health; others are related to tobacco, alcohol and drug use.
